[Ruichang Plans to Invest in and Construct a New Energy Battery Materials Recycling Industry Project, with Four Production Lines to Support Lithium Battery Recycling] Recently, the website of the Ruichang Municipal People's Government in Jiangxi Province released the first public announcement on the environmental impact assessment of the "Qingyan Jiangxi New Materials Ruichang Lithium Industry New Energy Battery Materials Recycling Industry Project." The advancement of this project holds significant importance for the development of the new energy industry locally and even across the province. The project is located on the east side of the planned branch road of Changjiang Avenue in the Matou Industrial City, Ruichang City, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It aims to construct a comprehensive project for the precise recycling and regeneration of scrap lithium battery materials. The project plans to establish four production lines, including two lines for the precise disassembly and material regeneration of lithium iron phosphate (LFP), with an annual processing capacity of 20,000 mt; one line for the precise disassembly of ternary lithium batteries, with an annual processing capacity of 10,000 mt; and one line for material restoration, with an annual processing capacity of 8,000 mt.
